This Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions of our warranty coverage for electronic toys sold by Bugbox.

Coverage

  • Bugbox provides a limited warranty on products purchased from authorised retailers or directly from Bugbox.
  • This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase, with the invoice date as a reference.
  • The warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Claims

  • To initiate a warranty claim, the original purchaser must provide proof of purchase, including the date and place of purchase, as well as the product serial number, if applicable.
  • The warranty claim can be submitted by contacting our customer service department at info@bugbox.au. Our representatives will guide you through the claim process and provide the necessary instructions.
  • We may require the defective product to be returned to us for inspection and verification of the warranty claim. The cost of shipping the product for warranty evaluation will be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise specified.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper use, abuse, neglect, or unauthorised modifications.
  • Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage.
  • Damage resulting from accidents, acts of nature, or any external causes.
  • Any products purchased from unauthorised retailers or obtained through unauthorised channels.

Remedies

Upon verification of a valid warranty claim, Bugbox will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the defective toy using new or refurbished parts.
  • Replace the defective toy with a new or refurbished unit that is functionally equivalent.
  • Provide a refund or credit for the original purchase price, if repair or replacement is not feasible.

Limitations of Liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, Bugbox shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the product, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
  • In no event shall the total liability of Bugbox exceed the purchase price of the product under warranty.

General Provisions

  • This warranty policy is governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arisingfrom or related to this warranty policy shall be resolved exclusively in thecourts of Australia.
  • Bugbox reserves the right to modify or terminate this warranty policy at anytime without prior notice, except for valid warranty claims submitted before the effective date of any changes.
